Asheville, NC based Destination Wedding Photographer shares a look at a lovely Fall Wedding at Rex Allen Theater & Events in Hickory, NC.
I have a unique fondness for Ashley + Sean because we spent some meaningful time together during their Engagement season! We first met in Charleston, SC in the summer of 2020 when we took a little mini vacay to shoot their Engagement Session on Folly Beach! We shot some pretty incredible engagement photos together, had dinner at my favorite restaurant in Charleston (Anson) and hung out on the beach together the next day!! Ashley and Sean are two of the absolute sweetest, kindest, most loving folks and I had such a great time getting to know them! When their Wedding Day came, it felt like we were old friends reuniting and that’s exactly how I like it! 😉
They got married in mid October at this lovely venue in Hickory called Rex Allen Theater and Events! It was my first time shooting there and I really loved the property, the ceremony site, the pavilion, the staff! It really was wonderful!
Things I LOVED about this Wedding:
- The Floral for this Wedding was SO Gorgeous! I LOVED the colors Ashley selected and the stems Kara used! The Floral was designed by: It Can Be Arranged Floral in Marion, NC.
- Ashley is SO thoughtful, I LOVED the Nightmare Before Christmas (Jack + Sally) Cufflinks + Details + Socks. I loved the gifts Ashley gave her mother (a beautiful portrait from Ssasa on Etsy, here’s the link: Ssasa) AND the sweet gifts she gave me!! (will try to update this post with a photo of them next time I wear them!) XO
- I LOVED the attention to Detail with the reception space!
- I LOVED how IN LOVE Sean was with Ashley that day! He just loves her SO much and treats her with so much love and respect and boyyyy does she deserve it!! I’m convinced that Ashley is truly an angel! I kept saying to my 2nd shooter that day: “I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a groom be as in LOVE with his bride as Sean is with Ashley!!!” Seriously, it was SO sweet to witness!
