Asheville, NC based Destination Wedding + Elopement Photographer shares a look at a beautiful Savannah, Georgia Destination Wedding in late February, 2021
I feel like I do this every year: I start out with the best of intentions, I blog my first Wedding of the season, swearing to myself that I’ll blog all of them and then Wedding + Portrait Season gets underway in May and then I’m so busy I barely have time to breath and then suddenly the year is over and I still haven’t blogged any of the other weddings! This year’s gonna be different, I’m definitely gonna blog all of the Weddings this year. LOL
When Kelsey + Tom hired me to shoot their Wedding, they were planning a Destination Wedding in Asheville at Yesterday’s Spaces. They kept hoping that by February 2021, gathering restrictions would loosen but as the date got closer and the second wave was raging around Christmas time, COVID restrictions remained pretty conservative in North Carolina while Georgia (where they’re both from) loosened their restrictions. So, at the last minute — I’m talking like a month or two out, Kelsey + Tom made the decision to change states, venues (they got married at The Clyde in Savannah Georgia) and vendors…. Talk about stressful! But, they made it through and the Wedding went off without a hitch!
These two are the sweetest, funniest, most lovable couple and I totally adore them!
This was by far, one of the most challenging wedding (ceremony + reception) lighting situations that I’ve been faced withduring my twelve year career as a professional wedding photographer! But, I think their Ceremony + Reception Portraits came out pretty great considering how dark the venue was! 🙂 Comment and let me know what you think!?
